At Saudewala, we take pride in providing high-quality refurbished laptops and accessories to our valued customers.
Our warranty and return policies are crafted to offer maximum transparency, peace of mind, and satisfaction during and after your purchase.

All warranties are covered directly by Saudewala and are not associated with the original manufacturer (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.).

This document outlines the comprehensive warranty coverage, process, and support guidelines applicable to laptops, batteries, chargers, and accessories purchased from Saudewala.


1. On-Site Warranty Policy

Eligibility

  • On-site warranty service applies only to laptops priced above β‚Ή20,000, purchased directly from Saudewala.in or authorized channels.

  • Warranty coverage begins after the 7-day return window ends.

Scope of On-Site Warranty

  • If your laptop qualifies, a certified Saudewala engineer will visit your location to diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues.

  • The service includes repair or replacement of defective components under the defined warranty terms.

Service Availability

  • On-site service is available in most major Indian cities and towns.

  • If your pincode is not serviceable, you must ship the laptop to our service address for repair.

  • We’ll assist you with packaging and dispatch instructions to ensure safe transit.

2. Warranty Coverage

We offer a limited warranty on all refurbished laptops, batteries, chargers, and accessories sold through our platform.
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Covered Under Warranty

  • Internal component malfunction (motherboard, RAM, SSD, processor, ports, etc.)

  • Internal hardware failure not caused by misuse

  • Battery backup issues (as per battery warranty terms)

Not Covered

  • Cracked screens, dents, or cosmetic wear

  • Physical or accidental damage (drops, spills, burns)

  • Power surge or improper electrical supply damage

  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs

  • Software issues (OS corruption, virus infections, third-party app errors)

Note: Shipping damage claims require a clear unedited unboxing video. Claims without video proof are invalid.


3. Warranty Period

Laptops 1 Year From purchase date (coverage begins after 7-day return period).
Battery 3 Months Minimum 90-minute backup under normal use.
Chargers & Accessories 1 Month Covers manufacturing defects only.

4. Warranty Service Categories

We classify service types to ensure faster, location-based assistance:

a) Minor Issues (Onsite / Local Center)

  • Software configuration errors

  • Charging or power issues (excluding damage)

  • Keyboard or port malfunction

  • Wi-Fi or Bluetooth not working

If your area is serviceable, our technician will visit.
If not, we may direct you to a nearby service point or arrange pickup if required.

b) Major Issues (Pickup & Repair)

  • Motherboard, RAM, SSD, or display failure

  • Internal component failure unrelated to user damage

For major issues, we arrange pickup, repair at our central facility, and delivery back within 7–14 business days.


5. Battery Warranty (In Detail)

a) Duration

3 months from purchase date.

b) Performance Guarantee

  • Minimum 90 minutes of backup under normal use.

  • Saudewala ensures 80%+ battery health on all laptops.

c) Warranty Services

If backup falls below the stated level:

  • Replace battery with new or certified refurbished one, or

  • Offer reimbursement (full or partial).

d) Exclusions

  • Swelling from overcharging or excessive heat

  • Physical damage or tampering

  • Natural degradation beyond 3 months

  • Unauthorized repair attempts


6. Charger & Accessory Warranty

a) Duration

1 month from purchase date.

b) Coverage

Covers defects in charging function, connector, or internal circuit.

c) Services

  • Replacement with equivalent accessory (new or refurbished)

  • Reimbursement if replacement unavailable

d) Exclusions

  • Physical damage (cuts, burns, torn wires)

  • Compatibility issues with other devices

  • Unauthorized modification or tampering


7. Warranty Service Procedure

To ensure a smooth and transparent warranty process:

Our team will acknowledge your request within 24 hours and assign it to a technician based on your location.

b) Shipping

  • For approved warranty claims, Saudewala covers both pickup and return shipping costs.

  • For unapproved or invalid claims, the customer bears the logistics cost.

c) Repair Timeline

  • Minor issues: typically resolved onsite or within 7 days.

  • Major issues: repair and return within 7–14 business days depending on part availability.


8. Replacement Under Warranty

Warranty does not guarantee full product replacement.
However, if a product or component is found to be unrepairable or uneconomical to repair, Saudewala may:

  • Provide a replacement laptop of the same or better specifications, or

  • Issue a refund as per depreciation and inspection results.

Replacement decisions are made after full inspection and stock confirmation.


9. Important Reminders

Please keep the following in mind to maintain warranty eligibility:

  • Always use original or certified chargers and adapters.

  • Avoid overcharging or exposing devices to heat or liquids.

  • Keep the invoice, accessories, and packaging for any service claim.

  • Warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser.


10. Policy Modifications

Saudewala reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
All warranty claims will follow the latest version available on our website at the time of claim submission.
