Our warranty and return policies are crafted to offer maximum transparency, peace of mind, and satisfaction during and after your purchase. This document outlines the comprehensive warranty coverage and return procedures applicable to laptops, batteries, chargers, and accessories purchased from Saudewala.
1. Warranty Coverage
We offer a limited warranty on all refurbished laptops, batteries, chargers, and accessories sold through our platform. The warranty is designed to cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal usage conditions. The primary objective of this warranty is to ensure that your laptop is free from any major defects that may affect its performance.
The warranty includes:
Malfunctioning internal components such as motherboard, processor, RAM, SSD, ports, etc.
Internal hardware failure not caused by misuse.
Battery backup failures (as per battery warranty terms)
However, the warranty does not cover:
Screen cracks, broken hinges, dents, or cosmetic damage.
Physical or accidental damage. (including water spills, drops, burns)
Damage due to electrical surges or improper power supply.
Damages caused by misuse, abuse, or unauthorized repairs/modifications.
Software issues such as OS corruption, virus infections, third-party app crashes.
Note: Any accidental damages claimed during shipping will only be valid if supported by a complete and unedited unboxing video. Claims submitted without an unboxing video will not be accepted.
2. Warranty Period
Prior to any purchase please go through the warranty policy as per your purchase.
Laptops
The standard warranty period for laptops is 1 Year from the date of purchase. The duration may vary for specific products and is clearly mentioned in the invoice or purchase receipt.
Battery
The laptop battery is covered by a separate 3-month limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty ensures that your laptop battery will provide a minimum backup of 90 minutes when fully charged under normal usage.
Chargers & Accessories
All laptop chargers and other accessories are covered under a 1-month warranty from the date of purchase. This covers manufacturing defects only.
3. Warranty Services
If your product encounters any issues covered under the warranty, Saudewala offers the following services:
a) Repair or Replacement
We will attempt to repair the defective component first. If repair is not possible, we will provide a replacement of the part or the entire laptop with an equivalent model at our discretion.
b) Parts & Labor
The warranty covers the cost of all required parts and labor involved in repairing the issue, as long as it is within the scope of warranty coverage.
4. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty will be considered void in the following cases:
a) Physical Damage
Any visible signs of external damage including dents, scratches, cracks, broken parts, liquid damage, or burnt components invalidate the warranty coverage.
b) Software Issues
Problems related to installed operating systems, updates, third-party apps, viruses, or user-installed software are not covered.
c) Unauthorized Repairs
Any repair, service, or upgrade done through a third-party technician or service center not authorized by Saudewala will void the warranty.
d) Wear & Tear
Minor cosmetic defects, usage-related aging of components, or degradation of battery backup over time are not considered for warranty.
5. Battery Warranty in Detail
A) Battery Warranty Duration
3 months from the date of purchase.
b) Performance Guarantee
Battery must offer a minimum 90 minutes backup when fully charged under normal conditions. Ideally Saudewala provides 80%+ battery health.
c) Warranty Services
If the battery backup is below the promised level, we will:
Replace the battery with a new or certified refurbished one
Reimburse the battery cost in exceptional cases (full or partial)
d) Battery Exclusions
Swollen battery due to overcharging or excessive heat
Physical damage to the battery
Natural aging after 3 months
Unauthorized repairs
6. Charger & Accessory Warranty
a) Duration
1 month from the date of purchase.
b) Coverage
Manufacturing defects in charging function, connectors, or internal circuits.
c) Services
Replacement with equivalent accessory (new or certified refurbished)
Reimbursement if a replacement is not available
d) Exclusions
Physical damage, cuts, burns, wire tearing
Compatibility issues with other devices
Unauthorized modification or tampering
7. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, please follow the process below:
a) Contact Support
Email us at support@saudewala.in with the order number, product details, description of the issue, and proof of purchase.
b) Shipping
Customers must bear the shipping cost to send the product to our service center. Saudewala will cover return shipping for valid claims.
c) Packaging
Ensure safe and proper packaging. Saudewala is not liable for any damage during return shipment due to improper packaging.
d) Turnaround Time
Warranty claims may take up to 30 days including inspection, repair/replacement, and return delivery. If unresolved within this period, Saudewala may choose to replace/refund the unit with 1% depreciation per month calculated from the date of purchase.
8. Return Policy (Within 7 Days of Delivery)
You may return your laptop within 7 days of receiving it, if:
The product is defective or damaged
The product is different from what was ordered
Parts or accessories are missing
You may opt for:
Full refund, or
Exchange with another model (of equal or higher value by paying the difference)
9. Conditions for Return
Product must be in original condition with box and all accessories
No physical or accidental damage
All personal data must be erased
Customer-induced issues or buyer remorse may attract a 10% or 3%/month deduction, whichever is higher
10. Buyback Program
If you wish to return the laptop anytime during the warranty period, you are eligible under our Buyback Program:
Refund based on 3% monthly depreciation or minimum 10%
Additional charges deducted for any damage, missing parts, or misuse
11. Refund Process
a) RTO (Return to Origin)
If the order is returned without delivery:
Refund processed within 14 business days
Deduction of courier and processing charges, unless due to courier fault
b) Post-Delivery Return
Inspection at warehouse within 24–48 hrs
Refund initiated within 14 business days
Processed back to the original payment method or bank account (for COD)
12. Non-Returnable Items
Returns will not be accepted in the following cases:
Physically damaged or tampered items
Products missing original packaging or accessories
Customized or specially requested items
13. Limitation of Liability
Saudewala is not liable for:
Data loss or corruption
Malware or virus infections
Indirect or consequential losses from product usage
Physical damage during user-handling or return shipping
